Welcome to the Tenner Pages Referral Program. By joining and participating in our Referral Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before signing up.
1. Program Overview
The Tenner Pages Referral Program ("Program") allows approved participants ("Referral Partners" or "Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring new clients to our website design services. This is a performance-based program where earnings are based on successful client conversions.
Eligibility
To participate in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid email address and payment method (PayPal, bank account, etc.)
- Agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein
- Not engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
2. Commission Structure
Two-Tier Commission System
Our Program operates on a two-tier commission structure designed to reward both initial referrals and long-term client relationships:

What Counts as a Qualifying Sale?
Commissions are earned on:
- One-Time Payment Packages: £149, £249, £499 packages
- Monthly Payment Plan: First month payment (30%), subsequent monthly payments (10%)
- £10 Sample Preview Service: Commission eligible (though amount is small)
- Upgrades & Add-ons: Any additional services purchased by your referred clients
What Does NOT Qualify?
- Refunded transactions (commission will be deducted if refund is issued)
- Fraudulent or suspicious transactions flagged by our system
- Self-referrals or purchases made by you or your immediate family
- Transactions from clients referred before you joined the Program
3. Payment Terms & Schedule
Payment Schedule
- Frequency: Commissions are paid monthly
- Payment Date: Processed within 14 business days after the end of each month
- Minimum Payout Threshold: £50. Balances below £50 carry over to the next month
- Payment Methods: PayPal, bank transfer (UK & International), or other approved methods
Payment Currency
All commissions are calculated and paid in British Pounds (£ GBP). If you request payment in another currency, conversion will occur at the current exchange rate on the payment date. Currency conversion fees may apply.
Tax Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for all taxes on commission earnings in your jurisdiction
- Tenner Pages will issue tax documentation (e.g., 1099 forms or UK equivalents) as required by law
- You must provide accurate tax information (e.g., VAT number, Tax ID) when requested
- We reserve the right to withhold commissions if required tax information is not provided
4. Referral Tracking & Attribution
How Tracking Works
- Unique Referral Code: Each partner receives a unique referral code (e.g., "YOURNAME")
- Tracking Links: Custom URLs containing your referral code for tracking purposes
- Cookie Duration: 90 days from first click (if a user clicks your link, you get credit for their purchase within 90 days)
- Last-Click Attribution: The most recent referral link clicked before purchase receives credit
Dashboard Access
You will have access to a referral dashboard showing:
- Total clicks on your referral links
- Number of signups attributed to you
- Conversion rate and earnings breakdown
- Pending and paid commission balances
- Detailed transaction history
5. Prohibited Activities & Fraud Prevention
Strictly Prohibited Practices
1. Fraud & Manipulation
- Self-Referrals: You may not refer yourself, family members, or create fake accounts to generate commissions
- Cookie Stuffing: Using technical methods to artificially place tracking cookies on users' devices
- Fake Traffic: Using bots, scripts, or automated systems to generate clicks or signups
- Chargebacks & Refunds: Encouraging clients to make purchases solely for you to earn commissions, then requesting refunds
2. Spam & Unsolicited Marketing
- Email Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails promoting Tenner Pages
- Social Media Spam: Excessive posting, comment spam, or deceptive practices on social platforms
- Forum/Community Spam: Posting referral links inappropriately in forums, Reddit, or online communities
3. Misrepresentation & False Advertising
- False Claims: Making misleading statements about our services, pricing, or guarantees
- Fake Reviews: Creating or soliciting fake testimonials or reviews
- Price Misrepresentation: Advertising incorrect pricing or offering unauthorized discounts
- Impersonation: Presenting yourself as an official Tenner Pages employee or representative
4. Trademark & Brand Violations
- PPC Bidding: Bidding on "Tenner Pages," "tennerpages.com," or related brand terms in Google Ads or other PPC platforms
- Domain Squatting: Registering domain names containing "Tenner Pages" or confusingly similar variations
- Logo Misuse: Using our logo or branding without explicit written permission
5. Unethical Practices
- Targeting competitors' branded keywords in paid advertising
- Using incentivized traffic (paying users to click your links or sign up)
- Promoting our services on adult, gambling, or illegal content websites
- Engaging in any activity that harms Tenner Pages' reputation or brand
6. Marketing Guidelines & Best Practices
Approved Marketing Methods
- Content Marketing: Blog posts, articles, and guides that genuinely help your audience
- Social Media Sharing: Organic posts on your personal or business social media accounts
- Email Marketing: To your own opted-in email list (no purchased lists or spam)
- YouTube/Video Content: Reviews, tutorials, or educational content featuring Tenner Pages
- Paid Advertising: Allowed on non-branded keywords only (e.g., "affordable website design," "website for startups")
Disclosure Requirements
You MUST clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting Tenner Pages:
- Blog Posts: Include disclosure like "This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you make a purchase."
- Social Media: Use hashtags like #ad, #affiliate, or include disclosure in post text
- Videos: Verbal or written disclosure in video description and/or within the video
- Emails: Include affiliate disclosure statement
Failure to disclose may violate FTC guidelines (US), ASA rules (UK), or equivalent regulations in your country.
7. Termination & Account Suspension
Your Right to Terminate
- You may leave the Referral Program at any time by emailing us at info@tennerpages.com
- Upon voluntary termination, all earned and pending commissions will be paid according to the regular payment schedule
- You will no longer have access to your referral dashboard after termination
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation immediately if:
- You violate any terms outlined in this agreement
- We detect fraudulent activity, spam, or unethical practices
- You engage in activities that harm our brand reputation
- You fail to provide required tax documentation
- We discontinue the Referral Program entirely
Consequences of Termination for Cause
- Commission Forfeiture: Unpaid commissions may be forfeited if termination is due to fraud or violation
- Clawback: Previously paid commissions related to fraudulent activity may be reclaimed
- Permanent Ban: You may be permanently banned from rejoining the Program
- Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for fraud or significant harm
8. Program Changes & Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify commission rates, payment terms, or Program rules with 30 days' advance notice
- Changes will be communicated via email to all active Referral Partners
- Existing earned commissions will be honored at the rate in effect when they were earned
- Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms
9. Commission Disputes & Resolution
If you believe there is an error in commission tracking, attribution, or payment:
- Contact us within 30 days of the disputed transaction or payment
- Provide detailed information including transaction IDs, dates, and supporting evidence
- We will investigate and respond within 14 business days
- Our decision on disputes will be final and binding
10. Intellectual Property
- All Tenner Pages trademarks, logos, and branding materials remain our exclusive property
- You may use approved marketing materials provided by us for promotional purposes only
- You may NOT alter, modify, or create derivative works from our branding
- Upon termination, you must immediately cease using all Tenner Pages branding and materials
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Tenner Pages is not liable for lost commissions due to technical issues, tracking errors, or system failures
- We do not guarantee specific earnings or results from the Program
- We are not responsible for third-party actions (e.g., referred clients requesting refunds)
- Our total liability is limited to unpaid commissions owed to you at the time of any claim
12. Independent Contractor Relationship
You are an independent contractor, NOT an employee, agent, or partner of Tenner Pages. This agreement does not create:
- An employment relationship
- A partnership or joint venture
- Authority to bind Tenner Pages to any contracts or obligations
- Entitlement to employee benefits, insurance, or protections
13. Governing Law
These Referral Program Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
